“For this Off-White™ partnership, we implemented the ‘double-skull’ technique,” explains designer Annalise Lao. “That’s a fancy way of saying we molded Symphanee’s face around her skull—something we’d never done before with a Monster High doll.”

DISPLAY THAT SLAYS

Both teams wanted the packaging to feel mysterious yet clean and elevated. Our designers took a lot of inspiration from the Off-White™ flagship store in Milan with its minimalist look paired with textural and organic elements.

“We created two modes of display within one package,” said packaging designer Suzanna Lakatos. “The first is display mode – removing the sleeve so you can pose the doll and see all the features, including the extra ARROW earring studs for Raven. Then there’s the art mode – keeping the sleeve on so the cutouts serve as a peek into the doll’s world and act as a magnifying glass on each feature individually.”
