DEADLY DUO

These iconic cult-classic dolls are inspired by the movie The Bride of Frankenstein — but with a Monster High twist. Both feature screamium fabrics and authentic details that make them positively spook-tacular.

ELECTRIFYING DETAILS

The Bride of Frankenstein dons a white flowing gown that complements her iconic hair streaks. Her heels are decorated with lab vials, beakers, and hidden ballerinas (for the die-hard fans). Frankenstein’s monster, with his signature neck bolts, is wearing a dark suit and thick, chunky boots.

Explain your connection to the Skullector series?

“The Skullector series is near and dear to my heart because I’m obsessed with any aspect of horror, let alone the actual classics! My mom loves ’80s and classic horror films and I was introduced to the movies of many of the Skullector products we make through her.”

Tell us about the use of premium fabrics and techniques on these dolls?

“For the Bride’s cape, we used a sparkly, sheer tricot fabric and laser-cut thin strips sewn on the back of the gown. With the curling of the strips, we achieved a worn, eerie, wispy look! Frankenstein was fairly straightforward, but one of the coolest things about his suit is that the lightning bolt foil on his jacket and pants is not actually black. We used a clear foil on black fabric so that it picks up and amplifies the exact black color from the fabric.”

Are there other details about these dolls you’re proud to share?

“We really loved the crinkle gauze you see under the Bride’s overdress so we knew we needed a sheer fabric on top to give the illusion of the Bride being mummified and undead.”
