MOTU Origins Eternia Playset Crowdfunding FAQ

What is crowdfunding? 
Crowdfunding lets like-minded fans come together to help create a new and unique collectible. Fans can show their support for a proposed item by becoming backers and placing pre-orders during the campaign period. If we receive enough pre-orders, the item can go into production. The result is a community-created collectible that fans will be proud to have co-funded! 
 
How does this campaign work? 
If we reach our goal of 5,000 pre-orders before the campaign ends on 11/9/22, the Masters of the Universe Origins Eternia Playset will go into production and will be shipped to backers in Spring 2024 (estimated). If the goal isn’t met by the end date, the project will be canceled and all money will be refunded. 

When will I be charged? 
No worries — you won’t actually be charged unless the campaign reaches the minimum goal of 5,000 backers by 11/9/22. The pre-order amount will show as "pending" on your credit card. When the campaign succeeds, your payment will then be processed. If it doesn’t succeed, your pre-order will be canceled, and the pending charge will disappear. 

Do you offer a financing option? 
Yes. Through Paypal and Shop Pay you can split your purchase into installment payments with no additional, hidden, or late fees. Learn more about this option at Paypal. Learn more about this option at Shop Pay. 

What is the estimated ship date? 
Spring 2024. For those who qualified for the Early Backer Bonus (orders placed before October 19, 2022 at 11:59pm PT), the Crowdfund and Early Backer Bonus will ship at the same time, but as separate shipments. This means you may receive one item before the other. When we reach 10,000 backers ALL orders will receive the Early Backer Bonus AND it will ship together with the Crowdfund. Please note, if you qualified for the Early Backer Bonus and we reach 10,000 backers you will receive only one King Grayskull figure. 

Do you accept refunds or cancellations? 
You may cancel your pre-order during the campaign period by calling Customer Service at 1-800-858-0102, Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. ET. (Please note, holiday hours may vary.) After the campaign period ends, on 11/9/22, there will be no refunds or exchanges. 

Where do you ship to? 

In most cases, we ship to P.O. boxes, APO/FPOs, the U.S. territories, Alaska, and Hawaii. We can ship to any country listed in the “Country” field that appears on the Shipping page of your checkout process. International shipping restrictions may apply. Because this item is large and heavy, a surcharge of $50 will apply to US orders.

The surcharge for International Orders will vary by region. See the table below for countries where product price is shown in local currency and includes applicable duties, taxes, and shipping surcharges.
