What is crowdfunding?
Crowdfunding lets like-minded fans come together to help create a new and unique collectible. Fans can show their support for a proposed item by becoming backers and placing pre-orders during the campaign period. If we receive enough pre-orders, the item can go into production. The result is a community-created collectible that fans will be proud to have co-funded!

How does this campaign work?
If we reach our goal of 5,000 pre-orders before the campaign ends on July 26, 2023 at 11:59 PM PT, the Jurassic World The Gates Set will go into production and will be shipped to backers in Summer 2024 (estimated). If the goal isn’t met by the end date, the project will be canceled and all money will be refunded. 

I live outside the U.S. Can I participate in this crowdfund campaign?
Pre-orders will open for international shoppers beginning June 30, 2023. We’ll ship to any country listed in the “Country” field that appears on the Shipping page of your checkout process. See the current list of countries and restrictions at https://creations.mattel.com/pages/shipping-rates-policy.  

When will I be charged?
No worries — you won’t be charged unless the campaign reaches the minimum goal of 5,000 backers by July 26, 2023 at 11:59 PM PT. The pre-order amount will show as "pending" on your credit card. When the campaign succeeds, your payment will then be processed. If it doesn’t succeed, your pre-order will be canceled, and the pending charge will disappear.

Do you offer a financing option?

In addition to pre-orders placed via credit card (MasterCard, Visa), you have the option to finance your pre-order beginning June 30, 2023. What is the estimated ship date?
Summer 2024. All items unlocked during the campaign will ship at the same time.

Do you accept refunds or cancellations?
You may cancel your pre-order during the campaign period by calling Customer Service at 1-800-858-0102, Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. ET. (Please note, holiday hours may vary.) After the campaign period ends, on July 26, 2023 at 11:59 PM PT, there will be no refunds or exchanges.

Where do you ship to?
In most cases, we ship to P.O. Boxes, APO/FPOs, the U.S. territories, Alaska, and Hawaii. We can ship to any country listed in the “Country” field that appears on the Shipping page of your checkout process. International shipping restrictions may apply. Because this item is large and heavy, a surcharge of $25 will apply to US orders.

The surcharge for International Orders will vary by region. See the table below for examples of countries, where prices are shown in local currencies. Please note: the price shown on the product display page includes the retail price, taxes and duties, and the shipping surcharge to your country. A site-wide shipping fee will be added to the price shown on the product display page.
