WAX BRIDGE TRANSFER FAQS

What does it mean to transfer virtual collectibles?
In this case, when you transfer your virtual collectibles to Mattel Creations, the versions in your other wallet will be burned, and an exact replacement version will be minted to your Mattel wallet. You’ll then see all transferred items at Mattel Creations instead of your old wallet.

Why should I transfer my virtual collectibles?
You’ll be able to access all your Mattel virtual collectibles from within one Mattel wallet. You’ll also have opportunities to earn additional physical redeemables through upcoming challenges, such as completing the Hot Wheels NFT Garage Series 1 collection.

What virtual collectibles can I transfer to Mattel?
All virtual collectibles from Ultra Hots and from Hot Wheels NFT Garage Series 1, 2, and 3 are eligible to be transferred to your Mattel Wallet.  

Can I transfer unopened packs?
No, unopened packs are not eligible to be transferred. You’ll need to open the packs within your old wallet first. Once those packs have been opened and the virtual collectibles inside have been minted, then you’ll be able to transfer them to your Mattel wallet.

Can I transfer redeemable tokens?
No, redeemable tokens are not eligible to be transferred.

How much time do I have to transfer my virtual collectibles?
You’ll have until November 17, 2023 to complete your transfers. After that, no future transfers will be allowed.

Can I choose which virtual collectibles to transfer?
Yes. When you connect to your other wallet to begin the transfer process, you’ll see a list of all the Mattel items you own in that wallet. Then select any or all of them to be transferred.

How many virtual collectibles can be transferred?
As many as you wish. Please note that our system only allows you to transfer up to 100 virtual collectibles at a time.

Why am I getting a “Transaction Fail” error when transferring my virtual collectibles?
To transfer your virtual collectibles, pop-ups must be enabled in your browser. If pop-ups are disabled, you’ll receive a “Transaction Fail” notice (error code 1101). Once pop-ups have been enabled, you should be able to transfer your virtual collectibles normally.

Where will I find the virtual collectibles I transferred?
You’ll see all your virtual collectibles in My Collection after the transfer.

Will I be able to keep the versions of my virtual collectibles in my other wallet?
You are not required to transfer your virtual collectibles to your Mattel wallet. This is simply a limited-time opportunity to transfer them if you wish.

If you choose to transfer them, we’ll verify that we’re minting exact duplicates of your items in your Mattel wallet. Then we’ll burn the versions in your other wallet, so the items only exist on one blockchain. If you choose NOT to transfer them, they will remain in your other wallet as is.

What if I don’t have a wallet at Mattel Creations?
A new wallet will be automatically generated during the transfer for you. A Mattel wallet is required to complete the transfer to Mattel Creations.

Can I still use the Wax Flow Bridge to transfer my items?
No. The Wax Flow Bridge was closed on September 23, 2024. You are no longer be able to transfer your Wax items to your Mattel Creations wallet, however, can still view your items on Wax.
