A MORE ACCEPTING WORLD

A MORE ACCEPTING WORLD

Monster High fosters a community where people embrace each other’s differences. From May 31st until June 30th, for each Monster High Pride Capsule Collection item sold, Mattel will donate $1 to GLAAD, the world's largest LGBTQ media advocacy organization which works to protect all that has been accomplished while leading the charge to create a world where everyone can live the life they love.*

MEET LOU CHOQUETTE (HE/THEY)

MEET LOU CHOQUETTE (HE/THEY)

Lou is a transgender artist from Québec who has loved toys and monsters ever since he was little. Monster High not only taught him design and English (yes, really), but also to embrace and celebrate what makes him different. He’s honored to support other queer folks through the brand and characters he’s loved for many years.

ABOUT LOU’S DESIGN

“I just wanted to incorporate a very chill approach to Pride that feels approachable,” Lou says. “The core idea is about friendship, relationships, healing each other, supporting each other, and being stronger together.”

MEET CHEYNE GALLARDE (HE/HIM)

MEET CHEYNE GALLARDE (HE/HIM)

Cheyne is an award-winning queer artist and illustrator born and raised in Hawaii, now living in Los Angeles. His illustration work reimagines LGBTQ and pop culture icons as modern-day superheroes. Cheyne’s art is nostalgic and celebrates the printed aesthetic and grit of the secondhand comics he grew up with.

ABOUT CHEYNE’S DESIGN

“I really was obsessed with the idea of the characters dancing, because that to me is what Pride is,” Cheyne says. “Friends are with friends. Different Monsters are celebrating their uniqueness, mixing and mingling together.”
