THE MASTERS REMASTERED

MASTERPIECE OF THE UNIVERSE

Our team couldn’t wait to see the creative energy MADSAKI would bring to He-Man and Battle Cat. His signature neon colors and spray-painted details, combined with a massive presence (16+ inches), give this iconic pair an eccentric and oh-so-collectible edge.

IT’S A TEE-MAN

Here’s your chance to wear a MADSAKI masterpiece. This iconic spin on MOTU Heroes is front and center on this edgy-but-wearable black T-shirt.

POWER SWORD NOT INCLUDED

This jacket couldn’t be more awesome or more ’80s. You’ll love the black satin, chest logos, and MADSAKI-created MOTU logo on the back in vivid, neon colors. It’s RAD.

THROW SHADE LIKE SKELETOR

What’s cooler than a snapback hat? One emblazoned with MADSAKI’s MOTU, of course. It’s filled with attitude and protects you from any shade that comes your way.

NOBODY PUTS SKELETOR IN A [LUNCH] BOX

Except when he’s a bottle trapped between a sandwich and the Prince of Eternia. He-Man and his crew will keep your lunch as cool as you’ll look carrying this awesome metal lunchbox.

WEAR THE POWER

When you are the ultimate Master, you need to look the part. And that means protecting your long locks from the elements. With MADSAKI’s MOTU logo on the front and heroic warriors on the back, this hoodie will keep you warm and your hair powerful.

A TRUE MASTERPIECE OF THE UNIVERSE

Show your allegiance to these heroic warriors with this portrayal of Eternia’s duality — complete with spray-painted eyes and eerie grins. MADSAKI has created an iconic interpretation of MOTU that will complement any collection.

PREFER HANGING ON THE DARK SIDE?

Prefer hanging on the dark side? Then MADSAKI’s vision of villainous MOTU warriors is the one for you. See Skeletor and his minions with streaked eyes and demonic smirks. It’s bound to become THE conversation piece of your MOTU collection.

Masters of the Universe is one of our favorite original properties, and we were proud to see just how much it influenced the art of MADSAKI and the artist himself. When he was a young boy, MADSAKI’s family moved him from Japan to the U.S. He watched the cartoons so often that He-Man actually had a hand in teaching him the English language. The bright Day-Glo colors also made an impression on MADSAKI, as evidenced in this collection.

When he visited the Mattel Design Center, he was completely overwhelmed and called it a creative wonderland because he was surrounded by all the toys he remembers from his childhood. This partnership was a dream come true for MADSAKI, and this collection is the ultimate, nostalgic homage to He-Man.

That was a seminal year in MADSAKI’s life, inspiring his “1984” exhibition at Kaikai Kiki Gallery in Tokyo in 2020. The show featured 29 large-scale paintings and sculptures based on the MOTU animated series, comic books, and action figures.
