BEHIND THE DESIGN
Pink is Barbie doll’s signature color, and this fourth doll in the series continues to show how versatile that color can be. “I think they show a range of diverse styles and moods that reflect my own different feelings and ways of expressing style and design,” says VP of Barbie Design Robert Best.
THE DETAILS
“I very much love the gown, but I intentionally kept it very simple,” Robert explains. “A full skirted high-low balloon-hemmed gown with a ruched strapless bodice serves as an anchor to showcase the over-the-top boots.”
